Why Choose Pleasantview Care Center?

At Pleasantview Care Center, we always go the extra mile to make life as normal as possible. Because many of our residents cannot get out into the community as often as they would like, we try to bring the community to them through events such as children's parties, bake sales, educational events and visits from groups and organizations. Monthly Activities

Pleasantview Care Center achieves CMS FIVE STAR Rating!

Community Involvement

Everyone enjoys it when the horses come to visit - especially the horses!
Normandy high school sword and shield restaurant
Legacy and Pleasantview residents visit the Sword & Shield restaurant for a delicious meal prepared by Normandy school students.
Pleasantview is actively involved in the community.

At Pleasantview, we make it easy for our residents to stay involved in the Community. In addition to visits from different organizations, we also host regularly scheduled activities with local children's groups - Parma schools, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, etc.

Intergenerational events

Intergenerational events and programs are designed to bring together residents living in a nursing home with children in our local schools.

Students in the Normandy High School, Nursing Assistant Program, complete part of their clinical training here at Pleasantview. New this year will be outings to the cosmetology department at Normandy High School for professional manicures and other beauty  services.

Located at Normandy High School is the Sword and Shield Restaurant where students train for food services careers. Our residents love to visit this delightful, very affordable restaurant for lunch.

Thanks to our Volunteers

Pleasantview and Legacy are grateful to our volunteers for making our facility such a wonderful place to call home. Our volunteers come from churches, the community and local schools. Many live right here at Legacy or Pleasantview. We also have 2 canine volunteers that visit us on a regular basis.
